First of all, I’ll start off by saying that I love Steve Harvey. I think he is hilarious, and I admire him for somehow finding a way to recover from one of his biggest career mistakes.
No, I’m not talking about the time he said the wrong winner at the Miss Universe pageant.
I’m referring to the time he appeared in You Got Served (2004).
NBC announced that his daytime talk show is cancelled and will be replaced by The Kelly Clarkson Show. I can only conclude that this is because of the awful advice he shared with this woman in the below clip:
I, and countless other women, are offended. If a man doesn’t fall in love with you even more after seeing you charge the dance floor when Back That Azz Up comes on, then he’s not for you.
And might I remind you, this song is another gem from 1999. It may be sung by Juvenile, but dancing to it is not. You’ll never be too old to twerk to this nostalgic jam. Keep doing you, ladies!
